Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Believe the cosmic rule that no one is sent by God to you without a reason. Why on earth it is he or she who met me and turn my life upside down? Why the one in trillion chances rested on him or her to give me such a shocking wave of love/life lesson? ......... The reason why we have the sixth sense intuition as human beings are because our souls had read the script of our current life before incarnation took place. We just forgot all the details. It is not unusual that we get strong premonitions before major life events happen. It is also not surprising when we feel hidden turns always lurking somewhere without any logic facilitation. ....... If we feel needy to this world, then we owe the world something. If we feel needy to someone, then we owe this person something. The needy tendency is an inborn thing, the so-called “Love at First Sight”. Or it could be acquired, the so-called “Emotional Entanglement”. Being Needy shows what we owe the outside because it keeps draining energy from us not what the outside owes us Mankind is often confused between the two. To learn more, just look into LIFE CONTRACT and give me your feedback, the 2nd series will be coming up soon.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is found in this series unveils an entirely different side of C. K. Barrett, a side one might never have known about if one had knowledge only of his famous commentaries and monographs. Herein lies a goodly selection of Kingsley's sermons preached largely in small- and medium-sized Methodist churches in the northeast of England, though often elsewhere in England and around the world. Fred Barrett was not the scholar his son was, but on close inspection, one can most definitely see the impact of the father on the son when it came to preaching. It seems right to include as many sermons from both of these men as we can in this series. One thing sorely lacking in much preaching these days is in-depth engagement with both the biblical text and one's tradition and theology. The sermons in these volumes demonstrate what such preaching can look like. This first volume presents 100 sermons on the Gospels and Acts.

Book excerpt: “This is a big book, with big themes and an author with the necessary experience to back them up... Full of insights as to the theories that underlie the rules governing contract, property and security, it is an important contribution to the law of international commerce and finance.” (Law Quarterly Review) Volume 1 of this new edition covers the roots and foundations of private law, the different origins, structure, and orientation of civil and common law, and the social and cultural forces behind it. It analyses the practical needs and market forces behind the emergence of a new transnational commercial and financial legal order, its international finance-driven impulses, concepts, and operation; the theoretical basis of the transnationalisation of the law in the professional sphere in that order; the autonomous sources of the new law merchant or modern lex mercatoria derived from the method of public international law, as well as its relationship to domestic and transnational public policy and public order requirements. The complete set in this magisterial work is made up of 6 volumes. Used independently, each volume allows the reader to delve into a particular topic. Alternatively, all volumes can be read together for a comprehensive overview of transnational comparative commercial, financial and trade law.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Living by Grace in an Ungracious World is not accomplished by self-effort. The word “grace” can describe the smooth movement of a ballerina, or the long stride of an Olympic runner, or even geese flying in formation in the sky. Certainly, this gives some idea that grace is a thing of beauty. However, the Biblical doctrine of grace has a much greater meaning for the Christian because it is not possible without the intervention of God Himself. We will find in this book that biblical grace is granted from the Sovereign God who brings that wonderful life through salvation and sanctification. Our part is developed through a personal mindset and personal relationships by yielding to God’s power. True life in Christ is to be living by grace. This is the road less traveled, but the best road to walk on through our sojourn on earth as Christians.

Download The Jewish Family PDF by Yehezkel Margalit Full Free and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2018-01-11 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Traditional Jewish family law has persevered for hundreds of years and rules covering marriage, the raising of children, and divorce are well established; yet pressures from modern society are causing long held views to be re-examined. The Jewish Family: Between Family Law and Contract Law examines the tenets of Jewish family law in the light of new attitudes concerning the role of women, assisted reproduction technologies, and prenuptial agreements. It explores, through interdisciplinary research combining the legal aspects of family law and contract law, how the Jewish family can cope with both old and modern obstacles and challenges. Focusing on the nexus of Jewish family law and contract law to propose how 'freedom of contract' can be part of how family law can be interpreted, The Jewish Family will appeal to practitioners, activists, academic researchers, and laymen readers who are interested in the fields of law, theology, and social science.

Download Loving Justice, Living Shakespeare PDF by Regina Mara Schwartz Full Free and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2016-11-17 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In thinking about Justice, we ignore Love to our peril. Loving Justice, Living Shakespeare asks why love is considered a 'soft' subject, fit for the arts and religion perhaps, but unfit for boardrooms, parliamentary and congressional debates, law schools and courtrooms, all of whom are engaged in the 'serious' discourse of justice, including questions of distribution, questions of contract, and questions of retribution. Love is separate, out of order in the decidedly rational public sphere of justice. But for all of this separation of love and justice, it turns out that in the biblical tradition, no such distinction is even imaginable. The biblical law is summed up as loving the neighbour—this is further elaborated as loving the stranger, loving the widow, the orphan, and the poor—those who lack a protecting community. Analysis of these foundational 'love commands' shows that in them, love means care, that is, apprehending and responding to the needs of others. This is both love and justice. Prevailing political concepts of justice are incomplete for they are premised on a belief in scarcity: limited supply (of goods, opportunities, even forgiveness) suggests they must be meted out in fair measure. To the contrary, with love, the good sought is not in scarce supply. Its distribution is not a problem for the more of it you give, the more it is replenished. So with love, the emphasis is not on how to apportion fairly—how much love do I give each of my children!—but how to understand and respond to need. This understanding of justice as including mutual care has a rich history in religious thought as constituting social glue. The revival of the Bible during the Reformation and the ubiquitous allusions to neighbor love in the Book of Common Prayer made it ever-present in Renaissance discourse, and Shakespeare brought this ethos to audiences in many of his plays. Part of the reason Shakespeare endures is that this ethic resonates for audiences today: we abhor the evil of Iago, the greed of Macbeth, the narcissism of Lear, and to even begin to understand how the sacrifices of Romeo and Juliet could heal ancient social conflict, we must assent to the power of love to create justice.
